MEGA Imaging Transducers

MEGA are built-in transducers that can send images to select Humminbird fish finders.

They are fully integrated with the lower motor section. There are no additional cables or connectors involved.

Some transducers share the same element for down and side imaging and the monitor just flips the image; with MEGA it’s a dedicated element, so it gives you a totally different and more detailed impression of what’s below or out to the side.

Minn Kota offers MEGA Side Imaging+ (SI+) and MEGA Down Imaging+ (DI+) and a 2D Dual Spectrum CHIRP Sonar.

MEGA Side Imaging and Down Imaging is supported by the following models:

  • HELIX Series: MEGA DI/SI G2N, G3N or G4N (adapter required)
  • SOLIX Series: any model

Make sure that your fish finder runs the latest software for this to work.

i-Pilot Link Compatibility

i-Pilot Link differs from a standard i-Pilot in that you can integrate it with a Humminbird fish finder.

It lets you control your trolling motor’s steering and speed directly from your fish finder screen. You can Spot-Lock, go to Humminbird waypoints and even automatically follow depth contours.

Minn Kota i-Pilot Link is currently compatible with the following Humminbird fish finders:

  • APEX 19, APEX 16, APEX 13
  • SOLIX 15, SOLIX 12, SOLIX 10
  • HELIX 15, HELIX 12, HELIX 10, HELIX 9, HELIX 8, HELIX 7

Bear in mind that for some Humminbird models you will need Ethernet Adaptor Cable AS EC QDE.

Universal Sonar 2 Compatibility

Universal Sonar 2 comes with a transducer that is fully integrated with your trolling motor. You can use it with various fish finders, for example:

  • Humminbird
  • Lowrance
  • Garmin
  • Eagle
